OK, fine, you can beat them. You can beat them often, intensely, and while watching a video where it's obvious the girl is reconsidering whether the $200 she's being paid is a good deal.

But you also can't beat them for just bringing a new level to the conversation. Let's say a bunch of people are yammering on about the state of politics (they suck) or a new piece of technology (it doesn't have everything we want) or drama (you stole my truck). Well guess what, we've heard this all before. The appropriate response?
